This web site is owned and operated by News 12 Interactive, Inc. ("News 12"), which is a subsidiary of Cablevision Systems Corporation ("Cablevision"). This 'Terms of Usage Agreement' ("Agreement") informs visitors of the rules and policies that govern this web site. Membership and Participation Eligibility
Parts of our web site may require that you register in order to participate and/or receive membership benefits. You must be thirteen (13) years of age or older to register with the site. From time to time we may also establish specific rules and terms for participation in contests, sweepstakes and/or other special events and will post this information on our web site. We will not knowingly collect personal information from visitors under thirteen years of age on our web site. News 12 My Town is originated and located in the United States, and this Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, excluding its conflicts of law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement or your access or use of this web site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the state of New York, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. We may provide interactive activities for our online web site communities such as chat rooms, bulletin boards (also known as message boards), blogs or auditoriums, collectively identified as "Interactive Areas," for the enjoyment of our visitors. We may also post additional guidelines and/or code of conduct for certain Interactive Area events. Any additional posted rules will be incorporated into this Agreement.
