Food, rides, and entertainment at the free concert featuring the Original Carl Gardner Coasters in Haworth.

The Coasters® first hit "Down in Mexico" was released in 1956 and sold approximately 500,000 copies. In 1957 they hit the charts with a double-sided smash "Young Blood" and "Searchin", each selling a million copies. In 1958 The Coasters® again hit the charts with "Yakety Yak" and "Charlie Brown". These two hits dominated the charts and stayed on the Billboard Top Ten list for several weeks in the No. 1 and No. 2 consecutive spots making The Coasters® one of the biggest performing acts of the rock and roll era. From then on it was hit after hit for The Coasters® with "Poison Ivy", "Along Came Jones", "Little Egypt", "Love Potion Number 9", "Zing with the Strings of My Heart", "Baby That's Rock and Roll" and many, many more. All of The Coasters® material was written and produced by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, who also wrote for Peggy Lee, The Dixie Cups, Ruth Brown, Elvis Presley, The Drifters, just to name a few. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, crediting the members of the 1958-era configuration. The Coasters® also joined the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999.
